About me

I am a doctoral candidate at the Political Science Department of University of California, Los Angeles.

I immigrated from South Korea at the age of 12 and was raised in Irvine, CA. I received a B.A. in International Studies - Political Science and Economics and a Master in International Affairs - Public Policy and International Development with Nonprofit Management from University of California, San Diego.

My research and teaching interests are in race, ethnicity, immigration, political behavior, and political psychology, with a specific focus on the sociopolitical incorporation of undocumented immigrants.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going on hikes, running, and going to local Farmer's markets.
